From our family closet i have three vintage vestments all were collected by a great uncle whom had an affinity for american revolutionary memorabilia we still have these three old vestments and have no idea of their true origin or provenance. If you recognize anything about these please send me a note. I would expect these to be 100 years old but could be 200+/- can you help? I encourage you to see all three listed this week and consider they have been together for 80+ years that i know, but could all be frmo different eras. This one is as you see deep red velvet like background + green and gold threaded hand embroidered design.
Looks like a crown over a large m embroidered what do you tihnk this is? All lining intact appears hand stiched (see close up pics) and see the close ups of the edges for what i think is great condition for such an old piece you be the judge. Certainly has wear typical of such an used antique piece it has some damage but your can see in the pictures + enlarge them for detail.
