Antique Black Velvet Dalmatic Vestmentstole Maniple

After a 10-day auction, this item is up ofr re-auction due to an overseas winning bidder. Per description, i can ship to the usa/lower 48 staets only. This auction is for what i belivee to be a turn of the last century black velvet religious/roman catholic dalmatic vestment. This is definitely not my area of expertise, but as i understand, this is not a chasuble but is referred to as a dalmatic the outer liturgical vestment of the deacon.

I will provdie the best description possible. Included with the dalmatic vestment is the stole adn two matching maniples, all with 1 3/4 long metallic gold fringe. This is a beautiful and somewhat stiff/heavy piece with exquisite metallic gold thread floral/embroidery and trim work. The wide sleeves draping from the shoulder are slit on the underside. The interior lining is in excellent condition, so very nice that it could be a replacement lining to the original.

Update i hvae been advised that the lining is original. I find the overall condition to be very nice showing onyl minor wear from usage and age. I observed that very minor ravelling/threading on one sleeve at the tips of hte narrow metalic gold embroidery see pic. This vestment/accesories have not been dry cleaned and of course this should be done as this is an estate item and not new!

The dalmatic measures apprs. 40 long x 28 1/2 at the bottom teh front measures apprx.

40 long x 26 3/4 wide at the bottom the maniple is appr. 35 in total length not including the metallic gold fringe and the stole measures 74 long not including the metallic gold fringe. Please don't hesitate to email if you would like additional pictures/close ups.
